[Practical Application Review – Week 52]
Greetings,
We continue our journey of exploring all 260 chapters of the New Testament, five (5) chapters each week. Let us finish the book of Revelation.

Now let us explore an example (of our three-step process) for each of these five chapters…
Text #1: Revelation 18
Passage: (vv. 21-24)
Teaching: An angel said the great city of Babylon to be overthrown. No more music, nor crafts of any trade. No one getting married. Sorceries deceived the people. Blood was also found in the land.
Application: It is always sad when a place that took years and decades to build is then destroyed in mere hours or days. I pray that all the people in the place where I dwell discover the Love of God. And avoid needless death and destruction.
Text #2: Revelation 19
Passage: (vv. 7-9)
Teaching: The time of the marriage feast of the Lamb has come and His bride (the Church) has made herself ready. She was arrayed in fine pure linen, clean and white. And blessed are those who are invited.
Application: All of God’s people should be looking forward to this future event. In the meanwhile, let us focus on preparing ourselves and becoming our very best for our Loving Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Text #3: Revelation 20
Passage: (vv. 11-15)
Teaching: The judgment welcomes all to stand before the Throne of God. Books were opened and each person to be judged according to their works. Those who are not recorded in the Book of Life to be cast into the lake of fire.
Application: Nobody should wait until after they die to then want to live for God. Now is the time to radically love God and His people. I truly hope that God’s grace and mercy will draw others in to His salvation right now.
Text #4: Revelation 21
Passage: (vv. 1-5)
Teaching: A new Heaven and a new Earth, since the former will have passed away. Even a new Jerusalem. A place where God will dwell with all of His people. All tears are to be wiped away. No more sorrow or pain. God makes all things new.
Application: Oh, how I long to spend eternity with my Loving God. I am so excited that we get to enjoy a fresh, new start. All the old is no longer. God and His children to live together forever.
Text #5: Revelation 22
Passage: (vv. 18-21)
Teaching: Anyone who adds to this prophecy will receive of the plagues written herein. Those who take away from it will have their portion of eternal life taken from them. Jesus is coming soon…
Application: I accept what is written as truth. No reason for me to add to or remove from anything. I love God, the giver of life and breath. And I desire to be with Him forever. You also? Prayerfully ask Him right now to include you as well.
